People sometimes seek out counselling for help with a specific issue, others are unsure of what they might need support with, but ultimately we all deserve to be here as ourselves; to feel like our lives belong to us.  Truly being heard can sometimes be all it takes to start to make sense of how we are feeling.

As your counsellor I will listen with empathy and non-judgement to give you the time, space and compassionate attention you need to explore thoughts, emotions or experiences that may be causing you difficulty.

As an integrative counsellor, I am able to draw on several modalities of therapy to choose the right approach for each individual, making my therapy unique for that person.  At the core of my approach is person-centred therapy and I also draw on elements of psychodynamic therapy, focusing, meditation, creative therapy, sand tray and psychoeducation.  I believe that you are the expert of yourself and I will always tailor the sessions to your needs.

Prior to being a counsellor I have always worked in a nurturing role, with animals, babies, children and new mothers.  I bring this nurturing essence to my counselling to provide the sense that it is safe for you to be authentic and to express your true feelings.
